Developed by expert Pamela Brooker and approved by real-world pilots, the Wing42 Boeing 247D flies and operates as real as it gets.
Prop-o-Tronic
The Boeing 247D comes with the first implementation of our in-house developed Prop-o-Tronic physics engine into Microsoft Flight Simulator. Prop-o-Tronic improves the realism and immersion, by adding realistic aircraft and engine simulation to many components.
1930s Wireless technology
Navigate like it’s 1933! The Boeing 247D comes with the “latest” radio set to facilitate your travels.
Integrated clipboard with payload manager, engine reference sheet and more
Interact with your virtual ground crew to help you load up your aircraft, service the engine and start-up the engines. The clipboard also includes in-flight reference sheets and other helpful tools for your journey.
Realistic, old-fashioned electrical system
Our electrical system mimics the real world counterpart 1:1. All electrical components in the aircraft are protected by old fashioned melting-type fuses. But don’t worry, we provide plenty of spares too!
Kick-ass sound set
We are using WWise to really bring the Boeing 247D to life! From the enormous roar of the two Pratt & Whitney Wasp engines to the softest clicking of a switch and the rattling noise of the cabin – everything has its unique sound.
